Premium Video Transfer Services

The Soap Opera ($40 per transfer up to 2 hours)

Named after the "Soap Opera Effect," this service up-scales and de-interlaces your video to HD standards without dropping any frames.

Typical video transfers only deliver you half of the frames in your video file as they employ on-the-fly de-interlacing during capture. We render your video after capture using professional video editing software to upscale your video to HD without dropping any frames. This creates a video file with twice the frame rate and ultra-smooth video motion.

As desktop media players get better at enhancing old video all the time, take maximum advantage of new technologies by providing them with twice the visual data to work with!

You will receive an MP4 file similar to a Netflix or Amazon Video download.

The Archivist ($35 per transfer up to 2 hours)

We capture your video in native 525i format at 29.97 FPS via an S-Video source. We convert the analog signal to serial digital interface (SDI) using a broadcast quality converter, and then capture the digital signal to a QuickTime file using an Apple ProRes 422 codec.

The Archivist Add-On

For the future-proofers out there who want to have files to share right out of the box, but also want to be ready for the impending AI video revolution, add "The Archivist" package to our standard service for only $20 per transfer or to our "Soap Opera" service for only $10 per transfer.

Please be aware, these files will be huge. You will need to provide us a new external solid state drive when you drop off or mail your order.
